House Concert Party - With singer-songwriter, Kevin Montgomery. Kevin is a Nashville native who lives in the UK. He will be touring with good friend and great guitarist, Sean Snook.

They are touring in support of the Every Child USA/Orange Duffel Bag Foundation to Help Children in Poverty, Teens Aging Out of Foster Care and Homeless Youth. See press release for more info (http://the50statesin50daystour.com/press-release )

Montgomery’s father sang and wrote songs with Buddy Holly ("Heartbeat" & "love's Made a Fool of You") and wrote "Back in Baby's Arms" for his neighbor, Patsy Cline". His mom sang on Elvis’ “Suspicious Minds” and Bob Dylan’s “Nashville Skyline.”

At 23 Montgomery landed a recording contract in Los Angeles with A&M Records and toured with Sheryl Crow, David Crosby and Peter Himmelman. He eventually moved back to Nashville. He sang on Lee Ann Womack’s I Hope You Dance CD. He also wrote “I Won’t Close My Eyes” featured on Martina McBride’s triple platinum Evolution CD.

In April 2000, he packed his bags. He now tours the UK, Europe and Australia extensively. He still hasn’t unpacked those bags, and this marks his third annual 50 States in 50 Days Tour.

Reviewers describe his music as Americana in the Jackson Browne tradition. His most recent album “True,” featured a remake of his father Bob Montgomery’s Patsy Cline classic “Back in Baby’s Arms.” He has just completed recording a new album prior to the tour.

This House concert is limited to the first 40 guests, a donation of $20 per person is suggested for the show. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Bob Colladay, Cody Heitschmidt or Ron Williams. If you can't make it, donations to the foundations can be made in advance as well.

If you've never been to a House Concert, it is a very memorable and intimate concert to attend. It is literally like having some one sing to you in your living room. The performers are generally more conversational during the show and do songs they rarely do in more traditional venues so you get a very custom intimate performance.

If you plan on attending please write a note on the wall with the number of guests in your party so we can get an accurate count for the night.

Thanks, and we look forward to a great evening together.
